TransVoice Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to the TransVoice iOS app, the official website, and related support pages. By accessing, downloading, or using TransVoice, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the product and related pages.
1. Service Scope
TransVoice provides speech recording, audio and video import, transcription, translation, speaker diarization, export, and related support information. Features may vary depending on device capability, system permissions, model availability, region, and app version.
2. Eligibility and User Responsibilities
- You must have the legal capacity required to accept these terms.
- You are responsible for ensuring that you have the lawful rights or authorization needed to record, import, transcribe, translate, export, and share the content you process.
- You must comply with applicable privacy, copyright, confidentiality, labor, consumer protection, and other laws.
3. Lawful and Acceptable Use
You agree not to use TransVoice to:
- process content that you do not have the right to record, transcribe, translate, or share;
- violate the privacy, intellectual property rights, personality rights, or other lawful interests of others;
- bypass, disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with the normal operation, purchase logic, or security limits of the app;
- use the product for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harassing, or misleading purposes; or
- use TransVoice in any way prohibited by applicable law.
4. Responsibility for Content
You are responsible for the content you record, import, generate, export, or share, including its lawfulness, accuracy, completeness, and downstream use.
TransVoice is an assistive tool and does not guarantee that every recording will be transcribed or translated fully, accurately, or without ambiguity. Accents, background noise, overlapping speakers, model availability, system limits, and media quality can affect results.
5. Permissions and System Resources
Some features depend on system permissions or model resources, including microphone access, speech recognition, translation resources, and local model files. If the required permission is denied, resources are missing, or the device is unsupported, related features may not work or may work only partially.
6. Free Features and Paid Features
TransVoice may offer both free features and paid TransVoice Pro features. The exact scope, UI copy, and pricing are determined by what is shown in the app at the time of use.
Based on the current product information, Pro-related features may include:
- advanced speaker diarization controls;
- batch transcription;
- more export formats such as Markdown;
- Siri Shortcut recording; and
- additional app icons.
The boundary between Free and Pro may change with future product updates.
7. Subscriptions, Lifetime Purchase, and Apple Billing
- Monthly and yearly plans are auto-renewable subscriptions offered through the Apple App Store.
- The lifetime plan is a one-time non-consumable purchase.
- Pricing, currency, taxes, renewal rules, refund eligibility, and billing timing are governed by Apple’s rules and what Apple displays at the time of purchase.
- You can manage or cancel auto-renewal through your Apple account subscription settings.
- You can restore previously purchased entitlements through the in-app Restore Purchases action.
Unless required otherwise by applicable law, we are not responsible for Apple’s payment systems, billing errors, refund decisions, or subscription management interfaces.
8. Website, Support, and Third-Party Services
The website, support pages, and email support are provided to describe the product, offer help, and handle communication. If you export content, share through system tools, or send material to another app or service, that third party’s own terms and privacy policy will also apply.
9. Availability and Product Changes
We may modify, suspend, limit, or remove features, pages, pricing, support methods, or content at any time to reflect product iteration, legal requirements, security concerns, or operational decisions. We do not guarantee that any feature will remain available forever or behave identically across every device and region.
10. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, TransVoice is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without express or implied warranties, including that:
- results will always be accurate or fit for your specific purpose;
- the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available; or
- files, recordings, transcripts, translations, or exports will never be lost or corrupted.
For important content, you should keep the original media and review the output yourself.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, TransVoice.
Where the law does not allow a full exclusion of liability, liability will be limited to the narrowest extent permitted. Nothing in these terms excludes non-waivable rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection law.
12. Termination
If you violate these terms, misuse the product, engage in unlawful conduct, or create risk for the product, other users, or third parties, we may limit access to website content, support channels, or related resources where necessary.
You may stop using TransVoice at any time and manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple’s provided flows.
13. Updates to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted unless stated otherwise. Continued use of TransVoice after the update generally means you accept the revised terms.
14. Governing Law and Consumer Rights
These terms are to be interpreted and applied subject to mandatory laws that protect consumers in the jurisdiction where you reside. If your local law gives you additional rights, those rights remain in effect.
